Broad Bean is a One-Man-Band. The Name is from ancient times, when I created designs for my first band. Today I'm 43 years old, play in some bands and be happy with my work in my little homestudio. The songs I create in this studio I call "Broad Bean Production". Most of the songs are produced very fast in one night. I don't want a perfect music. Much more interesting is to me to play as it is. There are some bad played passages - ok. But its my music and its important to me to find me in this music with all mistakes and brilliant sides. Often you hear my Bantam - Drums. Its only a tabac bag and a ligther touched on a sweets box. It makes a simple groove and makes this music to the music of Broad Bean. Der Name kommt aus grauer Vorzeit, als ich meine ersten Band - Plakate layoutet habe. Heute bin ich gute vierzig Jahre alt und freue mich neben anderen Band - Projekten an meinem kleinen Homestudio. Was da dann rauskommt, heißt Broad Bean Produktion. Meistens sind die Stücke auf die Schnelle in einer Nachtschicht produziert, mit einfachsten Mittel und viel Spaß an der Musik. Das Schlagzeug ist meist mein beliebtes Bantam Schlagzeug. Ein Tabakbeutel, eine TicTac - Dose und ein Feuerzeug. Naja, hört mal rein und schreibt mir Eure Meinung. Liebe Grüße Detbert
