About Me

My name is Amanda Lumry. I am a wife, a mom, an author and a photographer--and the titles keep going! :) To be sure, I love everything I do (except maybe for changing dirty diapers). I have two girls and thankfully one of them is potty trained.
I am the photographer of several coffee table books and I am also the author/photographer of a children's picture book series called Adventures of Riley . Riley is a nine-year-old boy who goes on adventures around the world with his Uncle Max to learn about animals and their habitats. The series has won a number of awards and is very popular with children, teachers, homeschool parents, animal lovers, zoo goers, etc. The goal of the series is to give children a better appreciation for the world around them and inspire them to learn to care for it at a young age.
For my job, I have had the privilege to travel to all seven continents, which has been an amazing and eye-opening experience. After seeing so much, I feel it is my responsibility to share what I've seen in any shape or form.
