I love to write and draw the Frankie Strange Adventure Series-of course. I also love being a mom of five wacky kids!! It's never a dull moment in the Morris house. But I'm constantly having to tell them to stop tap-dancing on the table and swinging from the chandelier...it's getting very tiring!! haha I also love acting. This is what I enjoyed the MOST while I was growing up in school. I was in acting ensemble in highschool and got to travel many places to perform. I went on to do acting in college and the community. I like to make people laugh. I enjoy doing many different voices. I use them when I do book readings for children everywhere. I love seeing Broadway shows. I also really enjoy singing and dancing. I love amusement parks and rollercoasters. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I have three more states to visit to make it to 50. I have also had the priviledge to travel to England my senior year of highschool. It was awesome. I have been on three Mexico mission trips. I loved the Mexican people and love to share the love of Christ with ALL people groups! I have also had the opportunity to travel many places in western and eastern Canada. It's awesome. Some of my favorite places there were Montreal, Quebec and Prince Edward Island where we attended the musical of Anne of Green Gables! I like to visit big cities, the ocean, busy places, remote areas, and also beautiful mountains and more. I love to learn about culture. I enjoy learning foreign languages. The ones I speak best are French and Spanish. I also like Italian. I would like to learn more of the German, Arabic, and Chinese languages. I like to cook and bake. I find it is very rewarding to learn a new dish to make for my large growing family! My family is my life. I enjoy being involved in all of their activities. I like to sew, make dresses, and design clothes and crazy quilts for my children. I also like to learn new things and share it with others. I like to learn about animals, flowers, geography, the universe, and the bible to name only a few. I also like to ice skate, rollerskate, hike and waterski. I've enjoyed many cool jobs. I met my lovely husband when I was working at a corn dog booth as a teenager to pay for part of my college. We will be celebrating 20 YEARS OF MARRIAGE this year!!!!! I worked at a photography studio for many years while I was attending Ohio State University. What a great learning experience! I have also worked at clothing stores, a jewelry store and several christian bookstores(two owned by the same people) while in college. After graduating from OSU, I became a Youth Minister for a couple of years. I have worked in youth ministry in both paid and volunteer positions for the past 20 years! I have also worked as a drama director in both youth group and highschool settings. One of my most funnest and educational experiences was having the opportunity to be the cohost of a "live" television show with a "live" audience. It was called Nightsongs. This christian music video show was on in the late evening and consisted of an audience on the set, people calling in for giveaways, great christian music videos, contests, special guests, and great topics for discussion and encouragement!! This show aired in Columbus, Ohio and its vicinity.
First and foremost JESUS CHRIST because no one else even comes close to Him. It would be fun to meet Toby Mac again. Met him in the late 80's at an Ickthus festival along with Kevin and Michael(DC Talk). Would love to meet the members of Audio Adrenaline too. Meeting Dav Pilkey would be pretty cool! I would love to meet all of my great, great, great grandparents and my great, great, great grandchildren...I guess that's what heaven is for!! That's why it is so important to have Christ and be PLEASING to GOD with the time you are given!!!!!!!
My favorite music is Tobymac. If I'm not writing or drawing, I'm probably dancing around the house like a maniac to Tobymac...don't believe me, ask my kids!!!! I also love Audio Adrenaline, Micheal Tait, Third day, Mercy Me, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Superchick, Sonicflood, Charlie Peacock, Hawk Nelson, World Wide Message Tribe, and much much much more!!
One movie I really like is A Walk to Remember because the girl shows such an awesome example of love towards God that it changes the guy's life forever. I also like comedies, animation(of course!!!) and family style movies! Facing the Giants is an awesome movie. I like the line in the movie where he says "Nothing is too big for our God!" The Night at the Museum is cute. The Ultimate Gift is a must-see!!
I'm pretty much into the Disney and Nickelodeon shows like Drake and Josh and Zack and Cody...you can't tell I'm the mother of a bunch of kids, can you?? I also like the show on food network called "Unwrapped". I like Trading Spaces...kids version! And there is a comedy show on really late at night on the christian station called BANANAS. It's HILARIOUS and free of nastiness!
The Bible is my absolutely favorite book because it means B asic, I nstructions, B efore, L eaving, E arth. It has an answer for every situation imaginable! There is no other book in the world that applies more to your life than the Bible. Depressed?...there's an answer...angry? addicted? ashamed?...there's an answer! Worried about your future? heartbroken? feeling betrayed? need to get your act together?...there's an answer! Need some encouragement? want to feel accepted? want to hit your bullseye for why you are here in the first place? There's definately an answer! I also like children's books.(duh) The humorous ones are my favorite--like The Stupids, The Dumb Bunny Books...oh yeah, did I mention The Frankie Books???
I think you might be able to guess this one!!!
