“Talenteers†is a not-for-profit networking zine set up to link creative people/audience together in artistic practice. This is achieved through gathering articles, essays and writings, stories, drawings, paintings, music, poetry, spoken word, films, instructions, concepts, trailers, theories, posters, badges etc together then distributing the collected items.
There is a theme for each issue, so it is a focussed network linking people with similar practices or themes in their work, together.
We create 101 issues of “Talenteers.â€
Out of 50 copies one copy will be sent to you, instantly linking you with 49 other interesting people (who also sent their work in). The other 50 are for general distribution, with one copy for our archives.
How it works:
1) We come up with a theme (we are always open to suggestions).
2)If the theme is something that interests you, then get in touch (details below). Tell us what it is you would like to contribute to the zine, a copy or draft is always most welcome. 50 contributions per issue is the cut off point.
3) You need to send to us your piece in multiples of 101 for distribution. Unfortunately we can only accept items that are no bigger than the size of an A4 piece of paper (width and height).
4) The 101 limited edition copies of your work will be added to the other submissions to create 101 issues of “Talenteers“. These will be then distributed like so: 50 will go to the contributors, so you will get your own copy of the zine, with the other contributor’s details and work inside. This is an instant link to 49 other people who are interested in the theme/ideas/practice that you are. The next 50 go to various galleries and societies, and other interested groups. The last one goes in our archive.

Once you have the 101 copies of your piece (no bigger than A4) on the “Talenteers†chosen theme send it to:

Your networking details - as many as you would like to give including email address and website so that people can get in touch (these will go onto our networking index inside the zine)
And of course an S.A.E (self addressed envelope) so we can send it back full to the brim. Please make sure it has enough postage normally 3 first class stamps are enough.
