About Me

My name is Caroline. I am French and I live in London. I have spent most of my life between France and the UK. I love both countries. They are quite different whilst being very close. I like to pick the best out of each side.
I am an entrepreneur and I am passionate about art. I have studied business in Paris and London and have worked as a consultant in both cities. I have always had a lot of friends who are artists, I admire them a lot and love to see their art being appreciated by others.
I have always found buying art and visiting galleries being quite an intimidating experience. I don't think art should be discovered in sterile places. I am also surprised by how few contemporary French artists you can find represented in the international art market. I think there is a lot of talent in France that deserves to be showcased outside of France - it's a matter of pushing it more!
I have decided to launch The French Art Studio to try to create more options for artists and art collectors. My objective is to give emerging French artists access to the international art market, and to offer to international art buyers an opportunity to discover unseen talents through a non intimidating and hassle-free experience.
The French Art Studio is a "virtual" art gallery based in London and specialised in French contemporary art. I don't own a gallery. I prefer to organise events that bring art to collectors in a more friendly way. I have set up partnerships with clubs, I organise private sales and now expand into partnering with interior designers. I also participate to various art fairs to increase public awareness of the art I promote.
I only exhibit art that I would like having in my own living-room, produced by artists I have met and connected with, who have a real story to tell.
The way I try to exhibit and sell art is to show artworks in places where people can comfortably sit and relax, meet with the artist and take time to enjoy. I also offer multiple services to make the art purchase easy.
I like to make my dreams happen. I invest myself a lot into projects that have a real meaning. This is what The French Art Studio is all about.
I would like to meet...
People who like contemporary art, people who work in arts, like gallerists, art critics, and of course artists!
People who want to work with me or just share ideas and suggestions to support my project!
Vous etes un artiste francais?
Si vous souhaitez exposer et faire connaitre votre art en dehors de France, je peux vous aider. Ajoutez-moi a vos amis Myspace pour que je puisse decouvrir votre travail et vous contacter!
