Je débute la peinture dans la rue en 2000 par le biais d'un collectif de graffeurs puis me converti rapidement au travail sur toile et investi peu à peu les rues avec une démarche également empreinte de street art (collages, inscriptions). Les voyages et la proximité avec les villes me mènent à la photographie. Auto-didacte, mon travail dans son ensemble s'inspire de la rue. Partant de l'hypothèse qu'un mur blanc n'exprime pas grand chose, qu'il est dépourvu d'un certain vécu, mon travail artistique s'inscrit dans une logique de vie des matériaux. Le matériau est donc marqué par son passé, par son histoire propre, comme un passé marque le visage d'un être vivant et exprime ses souffrances, ses joies... Mes travaux naissent d'écritures, d'inscriptions qui seraient laissés par la vie, d'assemblages, de collages...puis d'effaçages superficiels et ainsi de suite, afin de donner vie au support. J'aime particulièrement montrer cet aspect de vieillessement urbain dans mon travail photographique. Dans le but de marquer son espace et son temps, je pense que les villes doivent être investies par l'art, la culture, la vie et que nous devons réinvestir notre espace public plutôt que de le confier à quelques annonceurs publicitaires. I have quickly converted to plastic arts and now, I am also involved in a street art approach. Travelling in cities get me enjoyement from photography. Self-taught, I have been inspired by streets. Using the hypothesis that a white wall does not express much as a basis, my artistic work incorporates the life cycle of various materials. Materials are marked by their past, by their own history, similar to the way in which the face of a human being is shaped by the past which it has experienced, and thus shows its sufferance and joy… My work therefore, is influenced by writing and inscriptions that are left as a result of life experiences, as well as structures, collages, superficial erasings. I also work on the supports of my pieces in order to bring them to life. I like to show this ageing process in my urban photographic work. My work responds to the particular vision and notion of the city and public space, taking into consideration that everyone should be aware of their environment. With the aim of marking one’s space and time, cities should be enriched by art, culture, life, rather than by publicity and advertising.
