SUFFER

We (Mira, Roman, Honza) started to play together in 1996. Since that time we have had to change 4 bass players to find Vikk who joined the band in winter 2000. Our first material named "SHUT UP AND SUFFER" (Samuel 001) was recorded and released on Samuel Recs. as 9-track CD-R in 1998. Then we started to play more and more shows over all the Czech Republic and that was the reason why we were becoming known and popular. In the end of 1999 we went in the Prodigy studio (..jovice) to do another 8-track record. It came out in spring 2000 as "WHEN THE WHALES DIE" (Samuel 004). Some months later 5 songs were recorded which have never been released as one record. 3 of them were used for some punk rock compilations on various labels and the other 2 have never been released at all. During 2000 and 2001 we played many shows - no recording these years. Time for recording came out in fall 2001. There was a need to change the studio to get a new sound for the new record. We were recommended to record our new stuff at Exponent studio (Bratislava - SK). Well, 13 brand new songs + 1 cover song were done in less than a week and released 6 months later as our first full-legth album "4 HAPPY GUYS & BEAUTIFUL GIRLS" (Samuel 006). One year later we were back in the same studio again for 3 new songs. 2 of them were specially recorded for FINAL SK8 comp. and the 3rd one for TRIBUTE to KRITICKA SITUACE (not released yet). During last year we played many many shows with bands like:AVAIL (USA),GOOD RIDDANCEUSA) ENSIGN (USA), LET IT BURN (USA), BAMBIX (NL), OF NO AVAIL (NL), UPSIDE DOWN (PL), G.A.S. DRUMMERS (Spain), THE BABOONZ (Ger), ANTISMART (A), VENEREA (Swe), etc.Spring 2003 we were touring Germany & Poland. In the beginning of 2004 we wrote 13 new songs and recorded them in March at Exponent studio. The new one is named simply "THIRTEEN", released as Samuel 13CD on the 13-th July 2004. The energy, pop & emotions meet on this album in 13 punkrock songs. We filmed our first video to SECRET GIRL in summer 2004, that will be on Czech TV later.
