The band Ravelin 7 started to play in 1998 in the Northern Bohemia. During the years of its existence the band went through several changes in its composion, which are noticeable in the music style of the band. Two first records, the split LP with Thema Eleven and 7" The Seveninch, were released with a former singer. After the release of these two records, the singer left the band. This was a significant change for the band. With this change also the style of music changes, from the emotive hardcore into energetic, harder, distinctive and rock style.
The band played many gigs in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Germany, Austria, Russia, Poland, etc.
