Phantoms On Fire was founded at fall 2001 by David unHoly - vox, Rob Robowski – guitar, Peter Hammer - bass and Hans von Wagnerstein - drums. The first gig was played at winter of the same year.
At fall 2002 Peter Hammer left the band and the bass gap was filled by Lady Boy. POF enters studio to record 3 songs for promo. At summer 2003 Rob Robowski leaves the band and his place is filled by Mr. Van Vren and POF catches the second breath and changes its music style a little. At spring 2004 Hans announces his departure from the band, but yet POF enters the studio to record 7 song CD-R „Stay Away From Us…“ Tracks from this CD were released in various compilations such as: This Is The Night at SK8 AT ALL HAZARDS VOL. 2 (Final), The Girl Who Hates Me at DRIVING 2 HELL (Kids And Heroes), Stay Away From Us at BENEFIT FOR ANIMAL FREEDOM (Misanthrope) and Darkness (Cum To Me) na SCREAM OF NOSFERATU (Nosferatu). At fall 2004 POF find a replacement for Hans, in the drummer Rocky Balbex and POF enters the studio again at spring 2005 to record 7 songs EP, including four new songs and three covers (Samhain, Led Zeppelin, Billy Idol). Unfortunately this EP is not yet released. During summer 2006 Rocky Balbex leaves the band and POF finds a new drummer Mishuge. Nowadays POF tour and play many gigs in europe, preparing to record full lenght CD. Phantoms are currently signed by Cecek Records
During May 2007 we released split vinyl with our rock´n´roll brothers Flaming Cocks at Tchichimania Records. For this we recorded three new songs. You can listen to Be Bop a Lula above...
