I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you—Nobody—Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise—you know!
How dreary—to be—Somebody!
How public—like a Frog—
To tell one's name—the livelong June—
To an admiring Bog!
- Emily Dickinson
Self Portrait
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
- Edgar Allen Poe

I'm probably as nice as the nicest person you know. I bake cookies and I volunteered at Children's Hospital for 6 months. I was put in my brother's will as a backup guardian for my 3 nephews when I was like 23, male and single!

The best way I could describe myself is "a walking contradiction". I like classical and heavy metal music. I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal (libertarian). I like Shakespeare and pro wrestling. I'm a scientist by education, but an artist by nature. I like Harry Potter and Disney movies, and horror/occult films (but I don't like blood).

I just escaped corporate America to work for a web company. I'm aggressively saving for financial independence, but I'm hoping this new job will placate me. I'm planning to "retire" at 37-ish. I might go back to school or start my own business or just travel for life.

Random things ... I own like hundreds of t-shirts ... I don't need any more and yet I keep buying them. I broke 5 backboards in high school, shattered 2 glass ones. I speak Spanish, and am learning Portuguese. I know some French and a little bit of everything else. I got a perfect score on the Math SAT. I collect ... coins, ceramic Mickey Mouses ( would that be mice? :) ), concert ticket stubs, and quotes. The initial letters of the last 6 months of the year spell my name JASON D (July, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec). I might be related to the Scottish Robertson/Duncan clan ... as in King Duncan from Shakespeare's MacBeth. There's a DNA test I can take for $100.

Which original member of the Ramones are you?
You are Joey, the singer for the Ramones. Joey was known for his interesting voice. He died of lymphatic cancer in 2001 and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace Joey.
