Defender KFS is a modern Thrash Metal band processing influences from various Metal Subgrenres. Having its
roots going back ten years to 1996 the band went through years of development and played a groove and melody
oriented kind of Thrash/Death Metal long before nowdays Metalcore or Melodic Death Metal and stuff has been
even a term.

April 1996 - PENDRAGON the predecessor of DEFENDER KFS is formed.
September 1997 - "Long Live The Dead"-Demo CD is recorded.
Summer 1998 DEFENDER KFS is formed as a sideproject of guitarist Gregor, but quickly gets the main.
Summer 1998 - summer 2000 various line up-changes.
June 1999 first DEFENDER KFS-gig.
March 2000 vocalist Harald joins the band.
September 2000 after various demo efforts the debut-album "The Command" is released.
April 2002 - Former PENDRAGON-drummer Peter joins the band.
"Promo 2004" is recorded as a pre-production for the second album.
Winter 2004/2005 - after starting recordings for the second album "Self Impact" the band loses focus for a couple of months and picks it up again in Summer 2005.
Spring 2006 the band part ways with drummer Peter and guitarist Bernhard.
Summer 2006 - Alexander (bass) and Martin (guitar) hailing from the Vienna based Death Metal band MOLOKH join the band.
Autumn 2006 - mix and mastering for the album "Self Impact" are finished
Early 2007 - Bernd ( SUZIE CRIES FOR HELP , Ex-JORMUNDGAND), a former band colleague of Harald and Gregor joins the band as drummer
