BAND HISTORY:
Mastic Scum was founded 1992, inspired by the deathmetal and grindcore scene of the early `90 s. Till now the band played a lot of shows across Europe and also in the USA. Mastic Scum played shows with bands like: Soulfly, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Napalm Death, Dismember, Macabre, Master, Holy Moses, Disbelief, Pungent Stench, Caliban, Ektomorf ... The lyrics reflect the daily shit that happens on our world - in our sarcastic way.
In 2007 the band celebrates the 15th anniversary. For this reason the CD "The EP`s Collection 1993-2002" was released by Power It Up/Twilight Distribution on June 9th 2007. This CD includes all vinyl releases + 2 bonus tracks. This is the 17th release of Mastic Scum since the beginning back in 1992.
At the time the band is working on new material for the upcoming 4th album. Lots of songwriting is almost done but there are still some riffs and structures need to be brought together. New album to be released 2008! Stay tuned! www.masticscum.com
