About Me

Land of Tales plays melodic rock and tales are sung in english. The two masterminds behind the band, Kristian and Palle, started making music at the ages of six and seven and have been playing together for fifteen years in a finnish band called Naiskala. All the time, thereâ€™s been constant urge to make more adult orientated rock music, sung in english.
The feedback, especially from abroad, that they got through the Myspace-page of the band Naiskala, drove them to form the band Land of Tales.
Kristian started writing songs in November 2006, meanwhile Petri Lahtinen and Mika MÃ¤kiranta wrote the lyrics for the tales.
The Land of Tales-sound is an equal union of keyboards and guitar, crafted with the basic elements of Land of Tales songs, which are: catchy melodies and BIG choruses!
