New CD 'Lost and Found' coming soon

About Me

Successfully combining lyrical substance with infectious melodies, Matthew Tanner is among those rare artists who achieve a unique brand of sound. His music has a Western flavor with a cross-over appeal, and his rich vocals reveal a depth beyond his years. Matthew's sound has been compared with such artists as the Eagles, Bob Segar and alternative country artists including Ryan Adams. Matthew possesses a rare ability to write with great diversity around a broad category of subject matter. He skillfully explores topics of light and dark with great insight and sensitivity. Matthew's songs have been placed on MTV's/ABC's Making The Band, Making The Band 2, and Road Rules, just to name a few. Born and raised in California, Matthew produces his sound at Fun House Music, with the talented guitarist/singer/songwriter/producer, Mark Hayes, and other incredible musicians such as slide guitar wizard, Chuck Kavooras, and the always groovy rhythms of drummer Luke Hayes, and bass guitarst David Chamberlain, and the incredible stylings of b3 organ and keybord player John "JT" Thomas. The sonic quality of Matthew's music is highly due to the skill of mixing engineer, Dave Jenkins. It is only a matter of time until Tanner's music makes its way into popular American culture. Please take a moment to listen to the new hit song "Josephine" and leave your feedback in the comments section, rate it, and if you like it, please feel free to upload it onto your site and send it to your friends.
