Bruce David Loeffert - Singer / Guitarist / Songwriter:As a young teenager I listened to The Beatles, The Doors, The Cream, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Traffic, Jeff Beck (my favorite all-time guitarist), Led Zep, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers, Johnny and Edgar Winter, and all the legendary RNR artists of that era in the 60's and 70s. The motown and soul sound also had strong influences on my playing as well. I studied Jazz guitar with the legendary Larry Lucy (primary guitarist for Louie Armstrong's Band) and Jack Hotop Sr.(an extremely accomplished musician) for a spell too.

There were many good people and friends who helped and guided me along the way that I am very thankful to have met and known. One of my best friends and mentor of sorts Thom Gambino (Sax Player extroadinaire, writer, arranger, founder of the Umano Orchestra / Foundation) was very influencial in my early years as a young musician. Another good friend who has passed away but needs to be mentioned was a great guitarist from my old neighborhood Sal Caruso.
There were so many great musicians over the years that I worked with including John DeNicola (Dirty Dancin' songwriter), Don Scalzo ( Marshall Crenshaw Band), Godfrey Townsend, Jimi Cherry, Mike Carlino, Tom Steigler, Sal Sax Sammartano, Bobby Baronowski, Eric Heberling, Hal Stefan Levine, Rueben Velez, Jack + Tony Tarantino, Louie Vecchio, Charley Interrante, Kenny Hendricks, and so many others. The ride has been fantastic and getting better as time goes on.

Before I go any further I have to mention that for 6 years I had to step away from the music business (Aug.1999 to Sept.2006) to attend to family matters that had to be taken care of. In the course of that time the music that once flowed through my blood and soul faded away. It seemed as though I lost the God given gift I so loved all my life. After a long road that drained me in so many ways I thought I would never again play the guitar in a band or write.
Then in Sept. 2006 I went to see my favorite all-time guitarist Jeff Beck and his band two nights in a row. Standing about 25 feet away I watched every note Jeff Beck played as he performed his mastery of the guitar at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on a Monday night. Then on Tuesday night for the second time I went to see Jeff Beck at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. Jeff once again performed incredibly. I was so inspired by his performance that I began to play again. In the days and weeks that followed I practiced feverishly day in and day out. I then started writing again and since that time have written a number of new songs. I truly thank Jeff Beck for the light ... It was like I went back to my roots and in so doing I found the gift I thought I lost forever. It was like a lightning bolt turned on a circuit breaker in my head. Now more so than ever before I appreciate the God given gift I have. I am enjoying playing, writing and working on this present project.....
