About Me

For many years I have worked as a professional musician traveling around the country doing opening act concerts, resorts, nightclubs both large and small. Recently I have finished working on a collection of 15 songs that has been compiled into an LP/CD. My Band is called "The Bruce of Windsor Project". Basically this project is a group of musicians I put together selected from people I have worked with over the years. Together we have recently completed my new album/cd entitled: "Last of Windsor". The musicians who have joined me in this project are truly exceptional players and people in their own right. The musician are as follow: Charles Interrante - Bass; Kenny Hendricks - Keyboards; Tom Stiegler - Drums / Timbales; Pam Dixon - Background Vocals /harmonies; Tom Grosso-percussion; George Sullivan - Harmonica; Louie Vecchio Sr. - Drums; Ed Ranieri - Percussion; Sal Sax Sammartano - Saxophone; and Bruce David Loeffert - Lead Vocal/Harmonies/Guitar.For me it is always the process that I enjoy and the challenge presented. The finished product - basically my trophy, an accomplishment of a goal I set to achieve. This cd is now ready and available forsale via myspace and ebay. The hard copy is presently avaialbe at my eStore on EBAY RecordsBooksMore item: 230197084144. You see for 6 years I put my life on hold to attend to family matters that had to be dealt with. My parents were terminally ill and someone had to step up to handle their affairs. Somewhat like the plight of Atlas, it seemed the world was on my shoulders. What I learned is that when you are down and out you truly find out who your friends are. You learn who you can count on while the others turn their backs. This I can tell you... what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger and wiser. My sacrifices took a big piece of my life, stole priceless time and left me empty. My soul was drained and I felt as if I had nothing. The basic fact is I lost much in the process. Despite the hard road I was on, I never waivered and held true to my promise. At this juncture in time, both of my parents have passed on. Knowing I kept my promise and saw it through I am at peace with myself for doing so. *********************************************************** An amazing thing happened to me back in September 2006. I got tickets to see my favorite all-time guitarist Jeff Beck play on Monday Sept. 12th at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ and then on Tuesday night September 13th at The Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. On Monday I was about 25 feet away from Jeff and could see him in full view. His playing was superb and really blew my mind. His performance inspired me so much that I started picking up my guitars and playing everyday that followed. Something happened like a circuit breaker switch clicked on in my head. It is amazing but true. A good friend of mine and fellow musician Bobby Corsetti said to me that when I went to see Jeff Beck it was like going back to my roots and in so doing re-found the gift that I thought I had lost forever. Since then I have been enjoying a rebirth of music in my soul. I was with musician friends of mine on both nights and we all were blown away by Jeff's mastery of the guitar. I owe a big "Thank You" to Jeff Beck and his band. In fact on my cd I noted special thanks to Jeff Beck for the inspiration and the encouragement I got when he left a comment on my page at www.myspace.com/brucedavidloeffert back in June 2007. That really blew my mind and gave me more encouragement to complete my album. *********************************************************** The other passions in my life include playing golf which I find very therapeutic and enjoyable. To play well requires continual focus on every shot and therein lies the challenge. For many years I played tennis and still love the game. Unfortunately my knees and back do not feel the same about that at this time. So I have put down the racquet for awhile. I still enjoy watching the pros play. My favorite player of all-time is Pete Sampras but Roger Federer is now a the man to watch. My experience here at myspace has been great! Truly I thank all of you for joining me here as friends. Even though in most cases it is a cyber-friendship of sorts I still treasure each and everyone of you. Since signing on I have received emails and comments from people from all over the world. All of them are different in age and passions. Basically I can only say that I am blown away by the many talented and beautiful people out there. It is not about money, or how much you have or do not have. When you share the gift of friendship and love there is no price that can be attached to the eternal value it holds. When you look in the mirror at that person you see. Realize that you can reach out and spread the love. Your friendship can make someone or many smile from the warmth it shares. The choice is yours and I am glad you have reached out to me with open arms.Myspace or yours .... anytime you are always welcomed.TO BUY SONGS or The Complete Album/CD in digital MP3 Format go below to my eStore at SNOCAP.
