Just another snake cult

About Me

Screamingly sentient, dumbly delirious, only the gods that were can tell. A sickened, sensitive shadow writhing in hands that are not hands, and whirled blindly past ghastly midnights of rotting creation, corpses of dead worlds with sores that were cities, charnel winds that brush the pallid stars and make them flicker low. Beyond the world's vague ghosts of monstrous things; half-seen columns of unsanctified temples that rest on nameless rocks beneath space and reach up to dizzy vacua above the spheres of light and darkness. And through this revolting graveyard of the universe the muffled, maddening beating of drums, and thin, monotonous whine of blasphemous instruments from inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond Time; the detestable pounding and piping whereunto dance slowly, awkwardly, and absurdly the gigantic, tenebrous ultimate gods, the blind, voiceless, mindless gargoyles whose soul is MONGREL COUNTRY.After a few years of performing live, and being regarded as Western Australias best kept secret.. MONGREL COUNTRY are finally stepping out of the shadows and into your black, undeserving hearts. Finally, Mongrel Country have commited their unique style and exceptional musicianmanship to disc.."Just another Snake Cult" is a sinister and delirium inducing masterpiece, featuring cacophonous bass, mind-altering interlacing drum beats and contorted, distorted, barbwire tangled guitars - all lead by a bastard choir intent on turning you rabid with the tale of their sins.To celebrate the release of "Just another Snake Cult" the band has joined forces with the Trevalleys and Bonehouse for a 3 way CD launch! you are invited to the Hyde Park Hotel, Friday July 4th, 8 dollars entry or $15 entry if your choice of CD. The momentous occasion kicks off at 8pm, with special guests The Moonlight Wranglers opening.See you there!*Mongrel Country's RTRFM Fresh Blast Launch will be running the skipper program and is sponsored by ReThink Drink and Don’t Drive and Drive
