John Monllos, Guitarist

John Monllos, officially retired from the Navy Band after 20 years of service and is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree at University of Rhode Island. He has appeared on national television with a featured jazz spot on the News Program "Fox and Friends," and as the conductor of the Navy's Ceremonial Band on ABC's "Good Morning America." He also appeared with the Boston Pops (June 2006) as a guitarist with the Navy's Showband. He performs regularly throughout the New England area as half of the Jazz Candy Duo with Art Manchester (with Jazz Candy in Slide Show) and with various private bands. John is a graduate of the University of Miami jazz program.
