In 1993 she formed the all-girl group Eternal with sister Vernie, Kelle Bryan & Louise Nurding. Eternal – formed in the early 90’s they were one of the most successful girl R ‘n’ B groups. Eternal became the first girl group to have a million-selling album in the UK, with their debut Always & Forever. Eternal released their Greatest Hits package in October 1997. The compilation contained fourteen consecutive Top 15 hit songs – an unprecedented record for a British girl group, including Stay, Power of a Woman, Someday, I Wanna Be The Only One and Angel Of Mine. Another piece of infromation is that In 1993 Easther & Vernie recorded backing vocals for Dina Carroll on the song "This Time" taken from her album "so close". In 2003, Easther Bennett recorded a cover of "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" which was featured on a Valentine's Day love songs compilation CD. This sparked much interest amongst Eternal fans of a possible comeback from one of the UK's best female vocalists. The song was featured on several other compilation albums. Easther Also provided backing vocals on "Stay Another Day" which was a b-side track on no 1 Christmas single "Sound Of The Underground" by "Girls Aloud". That same year, Easther teamed up with reggae stars, Aswad, to record a cover of Diana King's "Shy Guy" which was released as a single. In 2004, Easther recorded the classic song "We are Family" for the soundtrack to the film the "Tooth" fairy. The song features in the end credits, eternal also recorded the song "Some People" from the film "Let It Be Me" Easther as recorded backing vocals for girl group "Clea" on there first album "Identity Crisis" - Easther did Additional backing vocals on every song after Clea's first album apart from...'crush' 'First Love' and 'Pretty little Bad Girls'.. Easther's done backing vocal's for Christian Band "Caedmon's Call" & also recorded 5 songs with "Kakalaka Koffee Music Group" two of which are called Don't Rush & Wake Up Call. Most recently Easther's been in Bath recording & working again with Denis Ingoldsby who has worked alot with eternal in past years.
2006 Easther Bennett did a duet with Peter Cox of Go West on his "Motor City Music" CD.The song is called "Your Precious Love" and is song number 4 on the CD. easther also provided additional vocals on song number 8 "Ooh Baby Baby".
