BIOGRAPHY: Not many artists can sustain a career as long as ten years, but LOUISE is one pop artist who is still going strong. After an impressive 13 years in the music industry LOUISE has achieved 18 top 20 hit singles and 5 platinum albums.LOUISE started her career as one 4th of UK R&B girl group Eternal, in 1993/4 whilst a member Louise and the girls achieved 6 top 15 singles from the multi-Platinum selling debut album 'Always And Forever' which reached number 2 in the charts and shifted more than 1.4 million copies in the UK alone. Eternal were the hottest group going winning stacks of awards including smash hits poll winners 'Best Newcomers' award as well as being nominated for 5 Brits at the 1995 Brit Awards.But in 1995 Louise decided to go solo and since then she has sold an amazing 4 million records in the UK alone, with her Platinum selling albums albums Naked (..7), Woman In Me (..5), Elbow Beach (..12) and Changing Faces the Best Of Louise (..9). Louise has also played to millions of fans across the country on her 2 massive sell out tours, 1997's 'No Sweat Tour' working with master mind chereographer Jamie King (Naked, Undivided Love and Let's Go Round Again : videos) and 2002's 'Changing Faces Tour' and performed to more than 100,000 fans at London's Hyde Park at the Annual Princes Trust's Party In The Park. Louise has been voted the worlds sexiest woman, and is a constant feature in poll's finding the sexiest and most beautiful woman in the world winning awards by magazines such as smash hits as being the best female singer. In 1997 and 98 Louise was nominated for the Best British Female award at the Brits.Louise married football star Jamie Redknapp in summer 1998 and in 2004 announced she was pregnant. On the 27th July 2004 she gave birth to her and Jamie's first child, a son she and Jamie named Charley.FHM magazine voted Louise the Sexiest Woman of The decade in 2004. and to celebrate Louise was July's cover girl.She is still planning on releasing her new album but only when the right single comes along. "After 3 years out i need a single that will make an impact" she says, but saying that she can't wait to get back out performing in front of her fans. the album she has been working on see's collaberations with Marc 'M2E' Smith and Sylvia Bennett Smith (Destiny's Child, Jamelia, Stacie Orrico) Mark Hill (Craig David) and Pete Martin (Sugababes, Dannii Minogue, Nate James) but which tracks make the album is still unknown, "I need to go back and play around with some of the tracks and see which still sound fresh".To ease hersef back into the public eye Louise has been signed up to promote charity cosmetic range 'ThinkHappy', and as a celebrity mum was asked to front the new Hovis Crust-less Loaf launch.At the start of 2006 Louise signed up to Merlin Elite management and she is hoping to eventually get her music career back on track. 'Boots' signed her to front their new teeth whitening product 'Safe and White' which saw Lou all over the magazines from April untill December. Louise also performed Live for the first time in 3 years in March, when she performed her no.4 hit 'Stuck In The Middle With You', on bbc 1's 'All Time Greatest Movie Songs' show. Louise has just been signed up to help promote the 'Flora Omega 3' products to help inform the good that giving children Omega 3 can do for them. She and Husband Jamie also had a 2 day presenting slot on the BBC's coverage of Royal Ascot, and whilst Jamie played in 'Soccer Aid' (May 06) as part of Robbie Williams' England Team, Louise presented coverage on ITV2's Soccer Aid Extra Time. In August 2006 Louise was signed to front a new campaigne by BT, and is currently in talks with the BBC regarding presenting jobs, which have already resulted in her landing a presenting slot on the re-vival of the BBC show 'The Clothes Show' which ran from October untill December, 2007 starts off with her front a new campaign by Wrigleys for Orbit Complete, ITV1 show 'The Truth About Size Zero' and a second series of the Clothes Show for UKTV Style and even with all this going on Louise can't wait to release more music.
