BIO
I grew up in Augarten which is an area of a town called Rheinfelden in Switzerland which wasn't a pleasant area to grow up in for me because of diffrent reasons but I did get through it. I had my first Ballet class when I was 7 years old but found it hard to keep up cause I guess it's not a thing you do as a young boy. It wasn't until I was a teenager that I started to take dance classes more seriously and that with great teachers like by Fred Mazaudou and by the Ballet School of the Theatre Basel. When I was 17 years old I started doing an apprenticeship with a big Bank in Basel but I was far more occupied with going to dance classes. After a few months I knew that banking was not going to be for me but I kept on going, progressing up to working full time at the bank in Basel as a cashier/personal banker and then in Lucern for a few months to save up some money. So when I was 18 years old I packed up my suitcase and moved to London and went to study dance, choreography and performing arts at London Studio Centre (Kings Cross) and at Arts Educational School (Chiswick) in London. After my studies I kept taking dance classes at Danceworks and at Pineapple Dance Studios in London. I also had the opportunity to train as a dancer in Hamburg, New York and L.A. So I trained for years in Jazz Dance, Street Dance, Contemporary Dance and Ballet and I am very familiar with lots of other dance styles. I also specialize in runway walking for fashion shows. Oh and I can roller-skate and ice figure-skate too!:-) As a professional dancer I have worked for major recording artists like Pink and Geri Halliwell and many others and on TV Shows like Disney Channel Show, Top Of The Pops, Children In Need, Popworld, MTV TRL Show, Pepsi Chart Show, GMTV, diffrent BBC TV shows, ...... . Awards Shows like Brit Awards, National Music Awards. Danced on London and UK Theatre Stage. Feature Films like Four Feathers. Arena Tours like at Wembley Arena. Club Tours like at London Astoria. Music Video for the USA singer Kelis and many others. Pantomimes like at Wimbledon Theatre in London. Musicals, Commercials, Corporate Events and Concert Tours like at Hyde Park and so I had the honour to work with lots of different and inspiring choreographers and creative directors.
Myself I have choreographed for Sound De-Zign, Fragma and Fashion Shows for fashion designers as Ana Sekularac and Jane MacMillan at London Fashion Week 2007 and Georgina Harley-Smith at London Fashion Week 2008 and more. I am a happely retired dancer (walked away before they called me "old face"!:-) putting now all my energy and passion into doing choreography and teaching. I fuse dance styles together creating unique and fresh work with its own style and vibe. I am fresh, creative, reliable, caring and have lots of life experience and full of ideas, energy and passion which I love passing on to others.
I also love Fashion and of course London which will always be my second home. In London I have always felt accepted and understood. I also love Music and sure can't live without it.Well in 2006 I did pack up 2 suitcases in London and moved with my cats to Switzerland cause I needed to get away from some things for a while. (I wish now I did pack up some more stuff cause everything else I possessed up till then got thrown away).
Moving to switzerland wasen't that easy as I expected to be. I guess I was a bit naive at the time and so I had to learn some things the hard way and on top of that I wasen't welcomed back with open arms by some closed ones. Well at list I have learned a lot again and grown from it.Stuff like that has always made me strong in the end but most important I feel pretty happy now and do enjoy very much my peaceful and "simple" life!:-)
