Your Song
Although I'm always trying to make sure that my set lists change and my repetoir evolves, or grows; there are just some songs that always seem to be there...
"Jumping Jack Flash" (originally performed by the Rolling Stones) - I almost can't imagine this song not forming part of my set; it's always been a favourite of mine and has always been there as one of the standard songs that I perform...
"Addicted To Love" (originally by Robert Palmer) - fantastic song, or at least I believe so; I've always loved this song - from the very first time that I heard it and, again, I just can't imagine not covering it.
"I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" (originally by Elton John) - again, one of those songs that I've always loved; in fact, more often than not this is my opening number; I feel so comfortable with this track and enjoy singing it so much...
Then there are songs such as "She Bangs" (originally by Ricky Martin); what can I say? Fantastic pop song! Good clean fun and a little bit raunchy! I love it...! "She Bangs" regularly appears in my set list....!
"The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You" (originally by Bryan Adams) - another regular for me.... Again, I liked this song so much from the very first time I heard it and love performing it....!
"Drift Away" (originally by Dobie Gray) - what a fantastic track and it always amazes me how many people know this song old & young alike... It's been a favourite of mine for so many years...
