Thomas Strønen (born 1972) is founder and leader of the Norwegian/British band FOOD, with British sax player Iain Ballamy. Food is now a duo and also invite musicians to join in. Nils Petter Molvær and Jan Bang has played recently and Christian Fennesz (Mike Patton) will join this summer.

were released on Rune Grammofon. New live- rcord will come out this fall. The ECM recording group Parish is with ace Swedish pianist Bobo Stenson, Fredrik Ljungkvist and Mats Eilertsen.
Pohlitz (Rune Grammofon) is a percussion/ electronics project completely without
drums, with focus on details and melodic elements and with possible
references to minimalists like Steve Reich, traditional Gamelan music
as well as fellow Norwegian Arne Nordheim's classic electronic music.
Strønen also writes music for string quartet and fall 2007, pohlitz performed his own compositions for string quartet ( Mr. McFalls Chamber) and percussion/ electronics at different venues in UK to celebrate Edvard Grieg. Now a new band with Tore Brunborg, John Taylor and Anders Jormin has been formed and will have a premiere this summer.
