i set up this fanpage for the waste cuz im a big ass HUGE fan . i want this page to be a place where waste fans from across the globe can come together and meet up and discus municipal wate and share stories of gigs and experiences. spread the word.
formed in the year 2000 they played their first gig at a Richmond New Year's Eve Keg party in 2000/2001. Blamed for inciting a small riot, Brendan Trache, Andy Harris, Tony Foresta and Ryan Waste went down a storm they then started playing small clubs and blowing peoples minds with their insane crossover in the vein of DRI,Suicidal Tendencies, 'Animosity'-era Corrosion Of Conformity attitude adjustment and kreator.Municipal Waste toured constently throughout 2001/2 in the USA and Mexico.
The band also released two split records - one 7" with Bad Acid Trip, the other 12" with Crucial Unit; they also had tracks on a number of compilations.
A line-up change happened in '02 when Brendan Trache left, being replaced by Brandon Ferrell in time for the 'Tango And Thrash' split record, before Municipal Waste released 'Waste 'Em All' on 6 Weeks Records.
after the release of the legendary "waste em' all " album brandon and andy left the waste and were replaced by dave witte and bassist LANDphil. in 2005 the waste signed to earache and released the mighty "hazardous mutation" album. those of you that listen to mike davis's radio 1 shows will now know the fast growing reputation municipal waste are getting in the u.k along with their sets at the reading and leeds festivals.
