The DWIFF combines all of our Creative Energies to create new opportunities that will ripple throughout our region, both culturally and economically.
Senator John F. Kelly is a long time supporter of Downtown Detroit, and has organized this first truly International Film Festival, to take place in both Downtown Detroit and the City of Windsor, Ontario, in the Summer of 2008.
This is NOT your traditional Film Festival.In addition to a great selection of films, the DWIFF features additional activities that focus on education, professional development and promoting our local production capabilities to the worldwide industry. We'll have workshops, panel discussions, film competitions, demonstrations and social events that will create an environment of opportunity for the film industry.
