Shortmoves call for entries 2009! The 9th Shortmoves Festival shall take place in September 2009 in Halle/S. This is the location where the selected films shall be screened. The closing date for entries shall be 18.06.2009. The Shortmoves Short Film Festival shall take place for the 9th time in September 2009. Shortmoves is on the one hand an annual, internationally aligned short film festival, but in addition to that, also a platform for the promotion of short film projects concentrated around Saxony-Anhalt. Simultaneously we would like to raise the public’s awareness of the high quality, creative potential of the film producers of tomorrow, enhance the creative and technical film infrastructure in the region, and further promote co-operation amongst filmmakers from all over the world. The Shortmoves Festival is aimed at all forms of film producers and is open to all age groups. The festival is internationally aligned, therefore contributions from all over the world can be submitted. The films may not be longer than 15 minutes. For technical reasons the screener copies are to be submitted on MiniDV or DVD. For final demonstration purposes we would require, if possible, a copy on Mini-DV-Format.
