About Me

.. ..
I'm a music obsessed (or just plain obsessed) girl that lives in North East London (Hackney to be exact). I am originally from West Covina California (outside of L.A.) but have always felt the gravitational pull to Europe, so this has been my home on and off here since 1987, with stints in New Orleans, Hollywood, Belgium and Sweden. I'm an occasional (but lazy) musician, as well as dabbling in writing, cartooning, art and photography (both sides of the camera). I have a fetish for travelling and love packing my bag for all destinations far and near. I still try to spend quite a bit of time in California as well as my mothers homeland Finland, where I have a lot of family. I listen to music day and night, its a continuously evolving soundtrack to my life... I love to go see bands and meet them when possible. I have recently started DJing here and there (available for hire, usually for free, or wine!) And to quote a friend of mine, Vera, the same goes for me... "If i don't somehow manage to offend, disgust, shock, embarrass, terrify, alienate, and/or injure you, or make you feel "uncomfortable" we'll be great friends!"

My Interests

..Music, travel, photography, going out, going to parties and having them, meeting interesting people, pubs, eating, drinking red wine, learning languages, reading (when I have time), designing outfits, running my tshirt/dvd company UndergroundTshirts , record collecting, music downloading, promoting music, writing, drawing, writing lyrics, inventing songs, painting, cycling, loads more to list...basically a music obsessive!

Come on, feel the noize!

I'd like to meet:

..I've met just about everyone I have wanted to meet... but I'd like to meet Lydia Lunch, Rowland S Howard, Terence Stamp (again!) become close personal friends with Crispin Glover, go record shopping with Lux and Ivy and Debbie Harry, get drunk with Rachel Nagy, dance with Iggy Pop, be locked in an elevator with Jaz Coleman, dinner with Siouxsie....but I always like to meet people into good music!

Heroes:

My dad (too bad he died) who used to say about punk rock "I fought the war for THIS?" (yes dad, you did), lots of people I admire... he knows who he is...cuz I love him....
