Review of Camel Audio Cameleon 5000
By: Steve Mueske
Camel Audio, founded in 2000 by programmer Ben Gillet, is an Edinburgh, UK-based company that is making waves in the software and effect plug-in market. And with good reason.
Camel Audio's flagship product is Cameleon 5000, an additive synthesizer with some interesting twists on additive synthesis..
The interface of Cameleon 5000 is a real joy. Every mode of the synthesizer is accessible from the front panel. If you want to make highly complex edits to sounds or setup modulation, you can access these modes easily with the press of a single button.

This months Featured Artist is:
Katie Marie
This extremely talented artist from the Devon area of the UK is just about the busiest muso I know! If she's not writing new material, she'll be in the studio recording it! When she's not doing that, she's out busking or gigging as a solo artist, or with a duo. If that isn't enough? She also plays drums for the Reofenders!
a punk rock band! It was my pleasure to catch Katie performing at a local restaurant one afternoon, where I managed to force some Songstuff fridge Magnets onto her!
Check out her MySpace page and her website, she's a true talent and a rare gem!
