About Me

Madman Is Absolute formed mid 2000 and quickly gained the respect of the UK metal scene... 2003 saw the release of the critically acclaimed mini album 'Compliance is Compulsory' on Hardface Records...Which helped to push the band further into the main stream Metal press, and earned radio play all over the globe... At the end of 2004 after much deliberation from both parties MIA parted company with drummer Martin Doyle... He was replaced by Matt Holland, The drummer from Edinburghs premium Death metal act 'Sons of Slaughter' and the band have never looked back. 2006 sees Madman finally releasing their first full length record and hitting the road, sharing stages along the way with such luminaries as The Berserker, The Black Dahlia Murder, Godplayer, Sons Of Slaughter, Mistress, RSJ, culminating with a crushing performance on the Terrorizer stage at this years Damnation Festival in Manchester, alongside such acts as The Haunted, Akercocke, Stampin Ground, Murder One, Skindred and Biomechanical. 2008 is shaping up to be a big year for us, with the addition of new vocalist Adam Holt, who we welcomed to the fold following the departure of Tony Newall. We have just finished our new e.p "Eleventh Hour Absolution" which we recorded with the main man Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, it shall be released late March early April.
