About Me

From the most un-metal town of Greenock (Scotland), comes a band looking to single handedly change the music scene in the UK, with the hope that people will once again be drawn to a band that can deliver a live show that has not be experienced, for quite some time.
KOMATOZE, the brainchild of guitar duo Connor Williamson (Ex FATALITY) and Paul Harrison (Ex CARNAGE), was started late 2007, when the two college musicians got together with the interest of writing music that they both love to play. Nothing was really planned but as time progressed it came apparent that things were coming together rather smoothly. To hear how the tunes would sound without a trusty drum machine, Connor suggested friend and previous band member Martyn Hodge. Hodge worked with Connor in FATALITY and was always willing to play in a band situation again. To complete the line up Iain MacDonald (Ex FATALITY) was also added to the lineup, filling in bass duties. Iain not only has alot of experience but is reliable and determined enough to make things happen.
So now after a full year has passed and each member bringing something new to the band! It's time to say goodbye to 2008 and get ready for the new year of KOMATOZE! Thanks for all the support from everyone, we've had a great time so far!

KOMATOZE are also currently working with PSYGNOTE STUDIOS, to finally record the eagerly awaited first record. Over the course of the year there has been lots of emails and requests for material that you can get your hands on, so all i can say is to keep a close eye on the page over the course of the Winter season.
After about 70% of the recordings complete PSYGNOTE STUDIOS stated the following announcement - 'I assure you though that this Album will be something worth waiting for! The infectious groove ridden riffs will definatly stick in your head for days and for young guys they certainly know how to play it old skool not mentioning the nonsense amounts of shred in there!
