I have a son & a daughter that I am very proud of. They have grown into beautiful young adults that are hard working & pursuing dreams of their own. I am hearing impaired & use sign language. My vision, not by sight, but by feelings and thoughts greater than my hearing is where my love of arts come in. When I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to be an artist. My dad (who was totally deaf) took up the hobby of photography. He let me use his Pentax Spotmatic SPII 35mm camera and it just seemed to be a natural thing for me. I took graphic arts in school learning the dark room, burning the plates and running the print press. Now, I use my Nikon D70 SLR. In my spare time, I shoot digital photos of wildlife, nature, landscape, animals, people, musicians, odds & ends. I write poetry with some of my photos (you can read them in my blog). Some photos are entered into the South Carolina Wildlife Magazine annual contest. I like to take my photos and turn them into creative art. Just go with the flow.

Stormy Sunset
Bleary darkness
Lightning striates
Thunder roars
Raindrops trickles
Clouds veering
Sea oats sway
Shadowing dunes
Mist dissipate
Smelling salty air
Waves rumble
Sun setting
Coral sky
Disengage gray
Tranquility comes
