About Me

Hi! I'm a 31 year old Aussie girl living in Australia and proud of it. Called me biased but i think Australia truly is the lucky country and there are plenty of opportunities to be found here. I love the wide open space that Australia has to offer, the beaches, the weather and the lifestyle. I love the countryside and I grew up with a love for the outdoors and nature. I strongly believe in doing what you can to help the environment and i think it is important to be aware of what is happening in the world.
I am a animal lover and can't tolerate cruelty to animals. I like to get behind different causes especially with animals as they don't have a voice. Taronga Zoo is one of my favourite places in Sydney.I also can't bear to see war, famine, child abuse, abject poverty and human rights abuses so i am happy to promote these causes here.

My Interests

Hiking, outdoors, cooking, taking photos, travelling, meeting people, spirituality, alternative therapies. I love burning candles and my oil burner. I love a good night's sleep cos i am a shift worker! I also have an interest in supernatural things.

Music:

It varies but currently i like Nelly Furtado, Black Eyed Peas, Savage Garden, Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5, Ciara. There's some great Aussie bands as well. I have also heard some really cool stuff here on myspace.

Movies:

I've seen some great movies in my time. I like all kinds of films but i don't like gore and violence. Recently saw 'sunshine' and 'bridge to terabithia'. Also liked 'freedomland', 'amytiville horror', 'the inside man', 'the wedding crashers'. Want to see 'the pursuit of happiness', 'freedom writers','premonition' and 'the reaping'.

Television:

Don't really watch TV but have been watching The Office (UK version), Oprah and Entourage seasons 1-3 on DVD. I do like Desperate Housewives, The Riches, Ugly Betty and Prisonbreak to name a few.

Books:

Girl with a pearl earring by tracy chevalier; the pact by jodi piccoult, the bride stripped bare by anonymous; a woman in berlin by anonymous. Anything spiritual. I want to get into Don Miguel Ruiz and Doreen Virtue.
