I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a geek. I'm fascinated by finance, economics and what greases the wheels of business (you know it's not *just* money!) I've spent over 20 years working in, raising money for and volunteering in non-profit organizations. I've learned that besides learning something new every day, my chief satisfaction lies in helping people.

So I landed at a non-profit, Federal Family Education Loan lender, (Susie Mae, a.k.a. The Connecticut Student Loan Foundation) and for over four years I've gotten the best education about money and business I could have ever hoped for. And I get to help families and students all the time!

My Interests

Fascinated by technology that connects us - if it builds a wall or isolates you it's just not that interesting to me :-) I love social media sites like Myspace and Facebook because of the unprecedented chance to share information.I want to know where the conversation is and not just create it. If you know of a site where people are talking about their student loans (complaints, rants, compliments, anything!) please let me know.Get this widget!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in the Student Loan Industry, Economics, Business and new media...bloggers, students, independent journalists and anyone interested in the free exchange of ideas and information.Check out some of these helpful websites!
