About Me

As a group, we are raising the volume of our collective outrage and shining a spotlight on predatory and unfair lending practices.

Check out Maxed Out, the documentary that takes viewers on a journey deep inside the American style of debt, where things seem fine as long as the minimum monthly payment arrives on time. With coverage that spans from small American towns all the way to the White House, the film shows how the modern financial industry really works, explains the true definition of "preferred customer" and tells us why the poor are getting poorer while the rich keep getting richer.
Credit card companies sign you up even if you have little or no income, knowing you'll trigger high "penalty" interest rates and fees. That's where they make their big $$$.
College students, young workers, immigrants, the elderly and others who are not aware of the traps get solicited the most and hit the hardest.
Free t-shirts, frisbees and pizza come at a dangerous cost. Your signature can lock in very unfair terms.
Credit card companies hire students to get their friends to sign up for cards that are filled with hidden fees and unfair terms.
And that's just credit cards! The subprime mortgage debacle is the same story of greed and abuse - not to mention abusive payday loans, car title loans, car financing, and more.
Don't Get F#%??D!

My Interests

Abusive lending practices are hurting Americans. The lending industry continues to encourage and profit from our debt, and our government is not doing enough to stop the abuses and regulate the industry. We need to raise our voices together and make our outrage heard.
