Band Members: Faith Chapel Christian Center was founded in 1981 with four people and a Bible in the living room of Dr. Moore’s home. While the church began with a small number of parishioners, it has a large vision. This vision is two-fold; a local church and a city of deliverance called “Sought Out.â€
The local church, FCCC, is a worshipping church, a Word-teaching center, and a witnessing church assisting the believer in the fulfillment of three basic principles: to worship God, to mature spiritually and to communicate God’s word to others.
God instructed Pastor Mike to build a city of deliverance called “Sought Out.†This will include a real city or Christian community that measures one hundred acres and will include four major centers of activities: The Ministry and Care Center, The Training and Development Center, an activities center and a business district.
From its humble beginning, the church has moved progressively from Pastor Moore’s home to a funeral parlor, to the YWCA, to an abandoned school building. The church now has over 6,500 members and is located on 140 acres of land in a rural section of Birmingham, Alabama.
The previously abandoned school building now serves as the Administrative Office for this continuously expanding ministry. In 2002, FCCC, completed construction on a 3,000 seat, $15 million Dome Sanctuary- it was built debt free while assisting other ministries with liquidating their own debts. The ministry is now in Phase II of what will be “The City of Deliverance.â€
