Raymond Schmuckenschlager a.k.a. Ray Parker(1974) started spinning the wheels of steel when he was eleven years of age, yet it was long before then when he had his first musical encounters. At the age of six years he was already busy entertaining the kindergarten crowds with his little orange turntable and a box of vintage 7"s, cruising from one birthday bash to the other. When house music first got introduced to the Netherlands, we're talking early ninethies, Ray got instantly hooked on it. The raw, electronic sounds from for tracks like for instance "Stacker - Humanoid" gave his something that he felt was missing from other songs in that era. Some little time later he bought his own turntables and started learning the ins and out's of mixing. Being a born entertainer soon made him realise this was his way of working the crowd and what the people want to hear in a deep and powerfull mix .
"Telling a stoy music wise and to find inner peace.. and offcourse playing with people's emotions by finding the right record for the right moment..." is what Raymond Schmuckenschlager quotes when people ask him why his main passion has always been collecting records and why his interest turned to dj'ing in the first place. Through the years Raymond Schmuckenschlager has developed his trademark sound: throbbing, funky and powerfull minimal house and rollin' techno with a clear recognisable reference to Rotterdams vibrant techno history, being the city were he resides and operates as a Dj.
Future plans include hosting his own party's and playing at the party destinations of his choice: Berlin, London, Barcelona and Ibiza. Also Raymond Schmuckenschlager has been active on the production field as well, he is hoping to release his first material sometime soon.

At Bootleg Ray functions as host and projectleader for the annual DJ Contest and he,s hosting his own night called DéTOUR wich starts at 2nd of november 2007 .Being a well known face in the underground house scene of Rotterdam, Raymond has been invited to play at several party,s & afterparty's in and around Rotterdam
