Seutek; real name Jeroen F. Seuthe was born in 1976 on the first day of April in Duesseldorf, coincidently also the hometown of the legendary electro band Kraftwerk who became very popular and learned to be a great inspiration for Seutek. After 2 years in Germany he moved to Rotterdam in The Netherlands where he grew up to be the succesfull musician he is today. Growing up Seutek already had a major interest in musik particulary electro, rap and hiphop. A couple of years later as a teenager Seutek started spinning vinyls at the tender age of 16 blending old House, Hiphop and Hiphouse records in local venues in his hometown Rotterdam at that time.Going deeper into the music Seutek discovered the early Detroit techno and Chicago house aswell as his fathers old Kraftwerk and Italo collection. Enthousiastic as ever Seutek bought 2 technics turntables and started to experiment with all these different sorts of beats and rhythms creating his own sound and mixing style that turned out to be freaky, funky and highly danceable with influences from techno, house, hiphop, funk and especially electro. With his warm, smooth and sexy electrodiscotech sets Seutek conquers dancefloors around the world. Prepare yourself for a hot & sweaty experience with spectacular mixing skills for maximum thrills.Seutek has already performed on high quality events and played his records in well known venues like Nighttown, Off_Corso,Waterfront, Las Palmas, Rotown, Vibes, Now&Wow, westbLAak, Club Rotterdam, Bootlegdjcafe, De Unie (Rotterdam), de Effenaar, Dynamo, Rembrandt (Eindhoven), De Vloer, Tivoli(Utrecht), 013 (Tilburg), Doornroosje (Nijmegen), Patronaat (Haarlem), PaardvanTroje, Bazart, Dystopia (Den Haag), Awakenings (Rotterdam), Integrate (Den Haag), Club Plus(Groningen), Asit Breaks(Amsterdam), Sweatboxer(Rotterdam) and on the festivals of Extrema, Awakenings(twice), 5 days off.. Sound Vision and Ffwd danceparade to name a few. Seutek also performed at several locations in Belgium on tour with Bunker records/Crème Organization and in Ireland, Italy and Germany.Besides deejaying Seutek also produces music as a member of the Dutch ghettotech band Pussycat. Raw uncompromising beats combined with raps about all kinds of addictions, nasty habits and common streetlife form the basis of this succesfull collaboration with his friends David Vunk and Ricky da Dragon. Pussycat already produced 3 Ep's on Dutch labels Elektrobot and Creme Organization. 2007 Seutek & David Vunk start their own label; Moustache Records. They release music from Mark du Mosch, Mauno Kalevi, Flemming Dalum, Sneak-thief, Polygamy Boys and Alden Tyrell featuring Fred Ventura. Moustache Records is distributed by Clone distribution in Rotterdam.Since 2000 this multi talented entrepeneur co-organises several events with his partner in crime David Vunk. A broad variety of events on different locations in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and the Hague called Brainstorm, Technoise, ElectroRock, Booty!, Sound of the nixties?, Moksi Meti and Magical Body on which he invites well known artists and performers like: Dj Godfather, Di’jital, Disco D, Gold Chains, TLR, Serge, Spacid, Dj Overdose, Pacou, Legowelt, Dexter, I-f, T!M, Alden Tyrell, Pametex, Dj Assault, Steve Rachmad, Lady Aida, Bangkok Impact feat. Kassen, Kid Goesting, Syncom Data, Frustrated Figures, Rude 66, Ricky da Dragon, Duvelduvel, Dr Lektroluv and dj Assault to name a few. Seutek also reviews music for dj Broadcast magazine and has hosted several events like the Bootlegdjcontest; a talent show for new talent which takes place on a weekly basis at the Bootlegdjcafe in Rotterdam.
