About Me

A complex character, I think! A romantic at heart but also a realist. I'm a Spiritual Healer and Reiki Master, a Poet and Photographer. My photography takes me out, my poetry takes me home. My life so far, has been eventful! Fate has a way of scuppering plans, so I don't go there. I'm currently writing a book, semi auto-biographical, but it's a long process, time-consuming and sporadic. I just wonder who'll write the last chapter .... and what they'll say!Check out my Poetry Websites at:http://www.poetrypoem.com/healinghands ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.poetrypoem.com/mistyveilCHECK OUT MY MISTY VEIL 'NEWS' PAGE FOR PHOTOGRAPHS!

Music:

Varies, depending on my mood. I love the RAYMOND FROGGATT BAND and LEONARD COHEN. Those two particular artists have been constant over the years. I do have a vast collection of CD's by various wonderful artists from rock to classical and some quirky stuff as well. There is also a wonderful array of talent lurking in my friends list and, if I can get organised, plan to give them all an airing on here.I dislike Jazz!!! My father loved it, especially jazz pianists .... I was left traumatised!

In my book, Froggie is just the business.
What a songwriter and still going strong!

Rarely watch television ... When I do get time to relax it's got to be watching music DVD's, my favourite at the moment is Raymond Froggatt In Concert At NIA Birmingham.... a brilliant show! For more info visit : http://www.myspace.com/raymondfroggattband~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~“THE ARRAN SUITE”~ What I’m listening to now is the new CD from ED WALKER. “The Arran Suite” is a beautiful collection of music, written, arranged, produced and performed by Ed and inspired by the beautiful and mystical Isle of Arran just off the west coast of Scotland. Ed has very kindly granted me permission to use his music as accompaniment for some of my poems and I am grateful for his generosity of spirit. Thanks Ed ….Please visit Ed at http://www.myspace.com/arranian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Books:

I have known Terrence Michael Sutton for quite some time now and have had many discussions with him on matters of life, death and love. We share a knowledge and fascination for the deeper and more meaningful things in this sometimes, shallow world. This is Terrence’s first novel and tells the story of Mick, the main character in the book, and his trials and adventures as he travels on his path though his life. Mick’s harrowing story is told graphically and is written with great insight and sensitivity. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and, yes ..I did find a part of me in there.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AUTHOR'S NOTE This is a book that needs to be read from cover to cover in order to understand and have it explain, not only the very importance of those very first years of a child’s life but how much those first years of childhood effect some souls right though their entire lives. These very first years can be compared to being not all that different from the planting of a tree, as a newly planted tree grows subjected to its surroundings be they positive or negative which, in ever so many ways, decide how that tree will grow right through its entire life. Many will find some of themselves in “AND THUS THE TREE SHALL GROW”.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Available on line from: http://www.trafford.com/07-0226~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really am very fortunate to have run into many talented people in my life and I’ve just taken delivery of a beautiful book of poetry from a good friend of mine, Sandra Hoynacki, and this is what I’m reading at the moment.
