About Me

Michael the mudcat writes, plays and sings Blues-Rock music in an authentic and honest style. Currently a Co-founder and leader of the Collin County Songwriters Association in North Texas, Michael has a rich musical past that has crossed paths with the likes of his contemporary and fellow Oak Cliff native, Stevie Ray Vaughn.He previsouly sang and played in New Orleans with New Orleans legend Wayne Folse in the Blue Rockers, at venues such as Tipitina’s and many of the famous local festivals.Mr. Reames sings, and plays guitar and blues harmonica. All songs written by Reames/ Folse.Michael the mudcat is always interested in helping new and upcoming talent in blues rock or jazz as well as those who never got a proper chance to be heard. The mudcat has access to studios, production, mastering and a pool of talent please feel free to ask about musical services.
