A band hailing from the port of North East Lincolnshire Where music is underground but still up-and-coming and ready to hit mainstream with a class act of great bands. Unless have been together for five years changing members. There age range is a typical 20 years young. A very talented act and one of the leaders of music around the area ranging from Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Doncaster and Hull. They have been know for the many different styles and there great onstage performance but most of there ability to write great songs. There a talented band who are very influenced not only by many different artists but each other. Each member has there own personal favourite style of music and that is well incorporated into there work. There hard to put into one genre but so easy to place at a gig with different styles of bands. Through history they have had various members, these members would include Cliff (The Wasp Factory) and Stevie (The Boy From Mars) who with Adam and Marc are the original line-up and the ones that got the band started. Other member would include Ash (Turning Tides) who at the time of Stevies leaving he braught a different kind of fusion to the band. Stevie later came back to the band with new influences and better skills. Cliff left the band to carry on work with "The Wasp Factory" in Brighton and later Stevie left to start a solo project "The Boy From Mars". The new line up now consists of Adam, Marc, Luke and Steve. Over the years they have gained a great following almost a cult playing with the likes of The Damned, InMe, The Misfits, Mick Jones, Jet Plane Landing, Spunge, 4ft Fingers, Capt Everything, The Johnsons (x-Paddingtons) and many more. They have met and spoke many people inc. Capt Sensible (The Damned), Mick Jones (The Clash, The Good, Bad & Queen) and the late great John Peel (BBC Radio 1)... It was through John Peel they got there first big break when he called the Unless Camp to ask if he could play there first single "Alternative" They happily accepted and through that John Peel got a whole load of calls from people asking for more so over the next for days and weeks he played more tracks from the "Alternative" ep titled "Fake Laughter" From then on the band have been played a lot around the UK on radio stations and abroad in the USA, Canada and Australia. They have featured in many local and non-local magazines, papers, and top shelfs... Also a few tv apperences. They was also played a lot on BBC Radio HUmberside... That later resulting in two interviews and two sessions, one filmed and up on the site now. They have carryed on to play The Humber Bridge Bash, Cleethorpes finest Winter Gardens Xmas Bash's and a few tours around the UK with the likes of "The Wayriders" many more great gigs.
