riffs promotion are the main metal promoter for the matrix club in grimsby. i run riffs with my wife karen (mrs riffs) lol .

we do not do this for the money, hell it's not about that is it. "IT'S ABOUT THE BANDS"
we try to bring great up n coming bands to grimsby. then we put on some local support bands. this then gives them the chance to meet and play with bands they want to be like . if they are lucky and impress the main band they may get chance to play elsewhere in the country with them. payment may not always be great but there is always payment of some sort to support bands. my priority has been and always will be.." the main band " who usually travel some way to come and play. "the sound guy" who can make or break a gig with his skills.
as local bands that have played for us in the past can verify we always give encouragement to the local scene, buried by grace are one such local band who we helped to find someone to record a decent demo cd with, the end product is on their myspace page for all to hear..."it's amazing guy's"
not everyone agree's with the way we do things but everyone who has played for us are happy to play for us again ..... so we think that speaks for itself..
checkout or calender for coming gigs .i go all over the country to see bands. i love metallica, i saw them in the States supporting ozzy back in 1986.
my biggest regret is not seeing nirvana live.
