We have a long history. Originally formed at and around march 2004 and didn't do much. Sam Neely (now the band drunk) joined around easter 2005 and we were doing fine, but then Dan and Tom had a (light) punch-up and Dan left. He joined two weeks later (or something) and then quit again to pursue other musical projects. Without a singer John and Sam filled in a bit and did a gig, but were unsatsisfied with their vocal capabilities so asked Rich Hodkin to join them as lead singer of the newly named "The FUMES". They were doing fine, their songs sounded good and were well on the way to taking the world by storm, but their were in-band tensions between Rich and the rest of the band (basically Rich could never jam and do gigs as he had other commitments). So in around Febuary 2006 The Fumes asked Danny to join the band again as he wasnt doing much (his other musical projects had fallen through and had just returned from a massive trip to Asia to "find himself" or something). With Dan now in the band as full-time singer and back-up guitar (we tried to make it work with Rich for a bit...) we came up with the name "BLACKOUT" and took it from there.
