Greetiings and welcome to my myspace page. My name is Benten and I have been a suicidegirl since April 2007. I don’t really know where to start with a brief description of who and what I am. So I shall start with the facts. I started modelling 2 years ago after I got bored with college. After I got bored of modelling in mainstream productions and being told that I needed to fix this and that (too skinny, too blonde, look too angular blah blah fucking blah), I decided I didn’t really want to pursue my career in this direction anymore. I applied to suicidegirls on a whim, I had never heard of or seen the site but I reckoned I had what it took to walk among the ranks of sexy alt ladies on the site. I was accepted and my set went up in June last year. Since then I have shot another set that is waiting to go live. Being a suicidegirl is not the entire basis of my existence or personality but it is certainly an achievement that im proud of. My biggest passion in life is my career and computer games, in no particular order. I love taking pictures and having pictures taken of me, im kinda narcissistic like that. I love computer games, im not just some band wagon jumper who reckons they are cool to impress boys. I will never prove my worth to anyone on any game, I will take on no one because I have nothing to prove. My favourite company is Sega and there has been a void in my heart since 2002 when the production of Dreamcast games finally ended. If you choose to engage me in this topic, I will be volatile, and you will probably blame the massive chip on my shoulder on the failure of this magnificent console. You will only be half right, because it was there before, but not as big. My idol is Sonic the Hedgehog and I have a 4ft cardboard cutout of him above my bed. I have a mercurial temperament ( a word I learned from one of my favorite books Anastasia Again by Lois Lowry). Generally I am a cheerful person who has venomous streak or maybe im a venomous person with a cheerful streak. Im not really sure. Im terrible at describing what I mean, often things that seem plausible in my head are completely unreasonable. Im terrible at describing myself and other people are terrible at describing me. I really hate the cold, and it is my dream to live somewhere hot. I have a portable fan heater that I carry round my home in order to keep warm. When it gets too hot and shuts itself off, I tap it until it starts again, a process that has undoubtedly led to it setting itself on fire. I am a vegetarian but that doesn’t mean if you eat beef in front of me and start mooing that I will cry or become offended, quite the opposite, I’ll find it amusing that you are mooing at me. I love makeup both buying and wearing it. I even wear it to bed even though photographers are always bitching at me that it’ll ruin my skin. I have the most lily-white skin that never tans, im continually slapping on the fake tan but im destined to a life where im constantly told I look ill. My hair is also a constant annoyance. Throughout the course of my life, I have dyed it pretty much every colour imaginable and I have cut it all of down to the scalp and had a mohawk too. Currently it is black, but I think im gonna change it yet again. My long-term ambition is to make a living out of my pictures. Whether they are pictures I have taken or pictures that I am in. I would love to visit Japan, Egypt, America and Russia at some point in my life. I am from Sheffield in South Yorkshire in the UK. I don’t have a sexy ‘British’ accent; I sound like Sean Bean who plays Boromir in Lord of the Rings. I apologise. I have no idea what my sexual orientation is; it has been fucked up since I was a child when I decided I’d like a sex change. I’d love to immigrate to a hot country someday but I’ve heard it’s a bitch to get a visa. Earlier this year I tried to give up eating fast food because I had an addiction to buying and consuming it. My attempt failed but financial difficulty has led me to cut back and now I spend my money on getting manicures. I don’t have a shitload of friends and im not nice to people just so they will like me. Im also not nice to my family when they are cunts just because society says blood is thicker than water. Currently im on a 5 year mission to watch all of Star Trek in order. So far its been 2 and a half years and I have 6 seasons left (2 of Voyager, 4 of *shudder* Enterprise). My life took a turn for the better last week when I discovered that on 24th March 2008, the Mysterious Cities of Gold is to be released in its entirety on DVD. Overall I am a regular person who will be straight with you if you are straight with me. To sum myself up in a sentence I would say I play computer games and get naked on the Internet. x x
