International Photography Hall of Fame

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

"To promote awareness and education of the history of photography."
The Photography Hall of Fame membership program has many great benefits for amateur, professional and student photographers including free admission to IPHF and Omniplex, discounts on merchandise in the IPHF giftshop, discounts on IPHF classes and workshops,, IPHF's quarterly publication, and more!
Annual membership supports our mission to preserve photographic artifacts and increase our educational programs. To become a member, visit our web site at www.iphf.org
The International Photography Hall of Fame is located in the Kirkpatrick Science and Air Space Museum at Omniplex. We are just west of the Oklahoma City Zoo and five minutes southeast of the National Cowboy Hall of Fame. Driving north or south on I-35, you should exit at NE 50th and head west. Coming east on I-44, you would exit at Martin Luther King, Ave. and drive south.
Our museum is located upstairs near the west galleries of the Kirkpatrick Center.

My Interests

"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." -Ansel Adams

"I was next to Bobby (Kennedy) when he was shot. It was hideous. Part of me wanted to crawl away. I couldn't. That was when I had to deliver. I was saying to myself, "Don't fail now, fail tomorrow." The Kennedy thing - I still wake up in the night and think about it. I even remember the f-stop. It was 1.4" -Harry Benson

"If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough." -Robert Capa

"You push the button, we do the rest." -George Eastman, 1888 after the development of Kodak camera.

"When I have a camera in my hand, I know no fear." -Alfred Eisenstaedt

"Photography can light-up darkness and expose ignorance" -Lewis Wickes Hine

"People say photographs don't lie, mine do." -David LaChapelle

"I do not object to retouching, dodging. or accentuation as long as they do not interfere with the natural qualities of photographic technique." -Alfred Stieglitz

"Momma don't take my Kodachrome away" -Paul Simon
