I began playing music at the age of 8 on a short tuba (can`t remember what kind) I wanted to play music but I couldn't see myself playing the tuba. It wasn't cool when you are 8. So I changed to guitar a year later. First I had a classic guitar teacher who was ok at the beginning, but after asking him for some rocksongs for two years and the only thing he had was "Rock around the clock", I changed the teacher! I got a new teacher and this time it was perfect. He was an old (35) rockguitarist who had played at the main stage at Roskilde Festivalen (Danish Festival) even though it was in 1973 it didn't matter. I was 11 and he was a God. It was great. I started to play in different bands from the age of 12. Even played drums at the time. In 2002 I started to play in a danish band called "The Rocketeers". Magnus (vocal) had some songs and other we made together. So after a few months, we had enough good songs to record a demo. It was recorded in Martins (Bass) own studio. A small studio in his parents garage in the countryside. Very nice. Trying to get some gigs we entered the contest Emergenza and went all the way to the finals, and came in as runners up. But we kept making new songs and trying to get more gigs. We went back to Martins studio to record new demos. We got some more gigs and once again we entered the Emergenza competition. This time we got only to the semi-finals. After this we went on to record even more new songs, but this time we recorded them in the Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen. At the same time I 've been asked to be the guitarist in this band called "Infernal". I didn't know anything about them. The request came through mutual friends and I needed to play more music, so I went down to their studio to meet them and they turned out to be the nicest people I´ve ever met and when it turned out we got along really well so I stayed on. The gigs came rolling in. It partly took my focus away from The Rocketeers and the other bandmenbers were also busy with other things. So we shut down the band in 2005. Infernal became a hole new forum for me. I went from playing in this hard punk/rock band to this pop/dance/electronica band!!! But you know what? You can almost play rock guitar on any thing today and especially electronic stuff and they wanted a rock guitarist. They got it. Infernal began to break through all over Europe and we played about 200 concerts in 2005/06. I´ve been to Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Poland, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Germany, all of the UK and of course Denmark. It became so time-consuming to perform with Infernal that I quit my day-time job (a music shop in Copenhagen) in 2006 and started living purely from playing music. I wasn't only a part of Infernals live-set-up, I also recorded guitar for Infernals studio albums. In 2006 Martin (Rocketeers) asked me if I wanted to play in this cover band he was starting. An AC/DC coverband. I grew up with this sh...
I´ve met so many wonderful and beautiful people every place I´ve been to and I feel lucky to be able to play music all the time. It´s a really hard living and only a few lucky can do it fulltime. But this is my dream, so why not give all.
