About Me

Every time you watch a rainbow and feel wonder in your heart. Every time you pick up a handful of dust, and see not the dust, but a mystery, a marvel, there in your hand.... Every time such a thing happens, you're part of the Circus of Dr. Lao.
I have a degree in religious studies and am a former Benedictine monk (while a monk, I taught Church History in the all boy school run by the Benedictines). I've been involved with community theatre for over a quarter of a century, mostly acting, although I have done some directing and writing. I am a writer, of sorts, mostly of humor and satire, but, what I am not, is an artist, as the following "cartoon" from my college newspaper shows.
Now the college I graduated from, St. Leo in St. Leo, Florida, has a Benedictine monastery smack dab in the middle of the campus, which inspired the joke. Here is another cartoon that speaks to me -
.. I have a love of and deep respect for the world religions. I have several collections of the Sacred texts from around the world. Would like to share the journey with like minded souls.

My Interests

World religions, new and old. British comedies, old and new. What lies beyond. What dwells within. The supernatural. The paranormal. Metaphysics. Alternate realities. The Marx Brothers. Peter Cook. Monty Python. Firesign Theatre. Black Adder. Community theatre. A good laugh and a great pizza.

My addiction: Svetlograd game

I'd like to meet:
