I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Who am I?An original work in process who is part artist, laborer, and spiritual journeyman. In this new year I want to invest more in the artistic part which has been often neglected in the all too common reality of solving problems, fixing things, and helping people.Saved from a dark pit & a devouring fire, I am a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. I am not yet who I want to be, but am seeking to travel the daily path of faith, hope, and love! Seeking to find the good in others, I aim to be a sincere encourager who is priviledged to have a wide variety of friendships with people of multiple ages and backgrounds.I enjoy innovative film projects, live theater, all styles of music, and all things art including photography, drawing, painting, sculpting, wood working, chopper motorcyles, 1950's cars and older VW Bugs!I also enjoy be-friending people and would like to be your friend. All of the wonderful myspace friends I have reflect alot of amazing diversity.I have worked for over 20 years with children's clubs, teen groups, and camps. My favorite memories include : "Sk8ter's Edge" , an specialized program for kids/teens who skate boarded, "Servant Outreach", a community service program, and "Bike's Edge" for kids/ teens who enjoyed BMXing.

I enjoy classic, hot rod, and drag racing autos and memorabila, especially from the 50's and 60's. My most favorite car : a 1932 Ford Highboy. While I am 54 years chronologically, the child and teen is alive and well with-in and manifests with-out very easily! You may wonder about the roses on my page. Two year's ago was a turning point in gaining an appreciation for their amazing beauty and variety after seeing the Rose Parade Floats in Pasadena, 2007. I realized that in a way we are each like a rose with some attractive and some thorny qualities that are worthy of appreciation and respect.

I strive to be industrious yet easy going, responsible but love to play, merciful yet firm, contemplative but talktative, reserved on some occassions but very outgoing. Like you, I am a work in progress; changing, growing, and undergoing transformation.A good sense of humor is what I revel in about all kinds of situations in life. Variety is what I thrive on in my daily life and weekly schedule.I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors - especially the beach on a wave and the mountains on a snow capped peak. One day I'd like to fly through the sky like I do in some of my dreams! My favorite things : a friendly dog, bar-b-que burgers & hot dogs, Starbuck's Coffee, chocolate chip cookies, bannana's and apples, boysenberry pie, a tall glass of ice tea, the smell of nitro-methane and burning rubber at a drag strip,foot-ball, catching a wave, mystic sunrises and majestic sunsets, and watching the starry midnight sky...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

PEOPLE WHO HAVE PASSED ON ... Joseph of the Bible: inquire about his experience in prison and learn about his administrative leadership skills/giftings; Peter the Apostle: what was it like to walk on the water with Jesus; Jane Mansfield : ask her why she made the choices she did; listen to Nat King Cole sing, and chat with Mother Theresa about her compassion for the poor. PEOPLE CURRENTLY LIVING ...Have a cup of java with Bono of U2, walk on the beach with Julia Roberts & her family and ask about her movie career highlights, discuss politics with the King of Jordan, spend an afternoon with 2005 PBR Champion Justin McBride, chat with Oprah about her projects of compassion in Africa, and listen to the stories of child star turned auto racer 'TV' Tommy Ivo, discuss funny car driving techniques with John Force, walk & talk in Yosemite with Pastor Rick Warren about oureach and church turn-arounds. Most of all, I would like to meet Jesus walking on the water! It's time to ride & go on a summer adventure - wanna come ?
