About Me

Rockin' for a Reason and Old Chicago team up to bring you "Rocktoberfest" - Friday, September 26th and Saturday September 27th. This year's event will once again take place at Old Chicago on East State Street in Rockford, Illinois.All profits will be donated to The Inspiration for Hope Foundation and The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. We netted $3,700 in our first year, 2006, and $6,000 in 2007. With great local bands and miscellaneous other entertainment, this year will be an event not to be missed.The September date perfectly kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness month, which begins the following Monday, and is the midway point for German Octoberfest which runs from September 20th to October 5th.Join us for fantastic music, fabulous German beers, great food and an all round good time. Celebrate life with Rocktoberfest and benefit breast cancer programs!! YOU CAN'T SAY YOU WEREN'T INVITED!!!

My Interests

Making a small difference in the fight against a big disease; Breast Cancer. We sincerely believe that breast cancer will be one of the first cancers to be cured.
