I’m DJ Noreen, I love music and here’s a few things about me:.. I’m a radio DJ on BBC Asian Network and present the Asian Network Chart every Saturday from 12-2pm (www.bbc.co.uk/asiannetwork)

.. As a child I used to play the violin, oboe and then went onto playing tenor in the steel band for about 6 years!
.. Recently took up playing keyboards and played with Brit-Asian fusion band ‘Sonik Gurus’s; gigs in 2006 included Indian Electronica Festival at Club 333 and the highlight was doing a 7 city tour of Mexico, playing at the Cervantino festival-Central America’s biggest festival! That was an awesome experience.
.. Currently working with ‘Universal Taal Project’ and have DJ’d with the project in Brixton playing a funky, mixed up set of asian and universal beats. Will keep you informed of future gigs…. I also write music reviews for Asian Woman Magazine, so if you have an album/single soon to be released get in touch and I may review it.
.. Aswell as music other passions include eating potatoes, yoga and Marilyn Monroe!
