"Arystyle" I was born in Douala in Cameroon on October 10th, 1982. My mother is Cameroonian and my father is French.
I was one and a half years old when I arrived in France. I began to play music at the age of six thanks to a present that my parents gave me for Christmas, my first keyboard. Far from the city, I used to play alone without a music teacher. I learned to play by playing the music I liked to listen to. Fortunately, I had and still have a good ear for music. In the beginning, it was just a game but little by little, I began to play more seriously.
When I started middle school at the boarding school of a nearby city, I began to take music lessons. I then studied the science of music assisted by computer in the music conservatory. However, I very quickly got sick of playing other artists songs. I really wanted to find my own way so I began to compose my own pieces.
At the end of middle school, I became interested in the hip-hop culture and what it is all about. Shortly thereafter, I met rap singers and began to compose tracks for them.
When I started high school, there was a wave of French rap singers and I did not miss it! I was so fond of the hip-hop culture that I tried all disciplines… Initially, I began as a rap singer and I created my first album, which remains confidential. Later on, I began dancing hip-hop especially break-dance. I danced in the street or at the railway station with friends.
In order to pursue my studies after the A-Levels, I had to put music aside because I could not have all my musical furniture with me in my little student apartment. That was the main reason I used to spend most of my time dancing.
Today, I am coming back to my first love: music. My musical culture is quite varied and I like the current musical trends. Inspired by electronic sounds, I try to find my own style in a world that is already full of great beat makers.
